Home Work Supply Suggestions & Rules for Using Our School Tools
Pencils (we write and draw with pencils) *students can fix work with pencils, not pens Crayons (we draw and color with crayons) *we try to use finger control -- goal of good coloring is staying in the lines, coloring in "mouse holes", and coloring "waxy" Scissors (we cut paper only, on the line) *unless invited to cut something different--thumb in the little hole on top and fingers in the bigger hole on the bottom/follow the line of cutting, or shape to be made, extra paper scraps are not necessary Glue Sticks & Glue (we glue with glue sticks and glue) *using dots or lines of glue, we do not color with glue Paper (we try to keep our paper neat without folds or rolls) *for practice at home
